School Policies

RULES FOR THE STUDENTS

  • The students must reach the school premises 15 minutes before the school prayer starts.
  • Every student must follow discipline and silence should be maintained in the school premises. Running, playing or shouting inside the school building is not permitted.
  • Students and parents shall refrain from giving any gifts in cash or kind to any staff members or any occasion.
  • Parcels or any other articles shall not be accepted by any staff members or permitted to be delivered to the students during school hours or break time.
  • Any damage caused in the class or school will have to be compensated by the student having consent with the parent or guardian. The action regarding the same will be decided by the Principal.
  • It is advisable not to send the student suffering from an infectious disease to the school. A medical certificate that the pupil is free from infection should be produced when he rejoins the school after such illness.
  • Story books, periodicals, audio and video cassettes, etc. should not be brought to the classroom.
  • Students are prohibited from being a part of any political party or organization which can disrupt social harmony.
  • The school will not allow the student to sit in the class if he/she fails to wear proper uniform or don’t take signature on remarks by the teachers.
  • Punctuality being the most essential element of an Institution, Students who came late without a valid reason shall be sent home. Regular attendance is compulsory. A student shall be in the school premises on time. They must take their seats in their classes before the first bell and followed by after the recess.
  • On school days and for school functions and outings, students should wear the school uniform with Identity Cards, failing which the student will be sent home.
  • Students are not allowed to buy any eatables from any strangers nor street vendors. Care should be taken by the parents that they reach home safely on time.
  • Student should be well-mannered and follow the code of conduct as per the school guidelines accordingly.
  • Identity Cards is strictly compulsory in the school premises.
  • Students are strictly forbidden to leave the school premises without prior permission of the Principal with the consent of the parent or guardian in written format.
  • Speaking in English in the school premises is mandatory.
  • Student have to maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness throughout.
  • Any student who is persistently undisciplined or misbehaves with his/her fellow students or with staff members, will be suspended from the school Repeated such incidents will lead to expulsion/ dismissal from the school, without further notice.

LEAVE RECORDS

  • If a student remains absent from the school, he or she produce a note from the parent/ guardian on the day he or she attends the school next, indicating the reason for his/her absence. If the absence is to be more than 3 days, the apparent or the guardian shall write to the Principal about it in advance. Absence on account of illness should be supported by a medical Certificate.
  • Leave records has to be maintained by mentioning the reason of absence and signed by the parent or guardian in the School Calendar.
  • Attendance at official school functions like Teachers’ Day, Parents Day, Sports Day, Independence Day, Republic day, Educational tour etc. is strictly compulsory.

RULES FOR THE PARENTS

  • Parents are requested to sign regularly the notes, reports sent by the teachers through calendar. Failure to do so, may put the children to great inconvenience.
  • A parent wishing to meet Principal or a teacher of the school shall seek an appointment by writing a note in the school calendar stating the specific reason for such an appointment.
  • Parents are specifically requested to notify the school office in writing of any change in their address or telephone number or email-ID.
  • Parents are not permitted to meet the students or teachers during school hours, without the permission of the Principal.
  • Open days will be held after the examinations on specific dates. Parents are requested to meet the teachers on these days and discuss about the progress of their wards.
  • Parents are requested not to encourage their children to apply Mehendi or nail polish on any occasion.
  • If the student is sick for more than two days, the parent is responsible to submit a Medical certificate with a Leave application. The parent has to sign the calendar leave record and check whether the concerned staff have signed it.

LIBRARY RULES

  • The school library provides a student-centric and multi-disciplinary approach towards the students with a wide range of book collections covering different subjects oriented.
  • Silence and discipline have to be strictly maintained inside the library.
  • Students are not supposed to write or scribble inside the library books.
  • Students should handle the books carefully, failing to which they will be fined for the damage.
  • Students has to maintain the records of the books issued and has to be returned within the due date to avoid late fee.
  • If the library book is lost, it is the student’s responsibility to repay it.
